Service<br />

The system services provided by this <strong>UCS</strong> system can be selected from the default values and<br />

entered in this list field.<br />

’(Options)’ tab<br />

This tab is only available when adding a host and only for computer types which receive a computer<br />

account as standard. The tab is not shown when editing hosts. The tab allows selection of certain<br />

object classes for the host. The input fields for attributes of deselected object classes are not shown.<br />

For <strong>UCS</strong> hosts:<br />

Kerberos principal<br />

If this checkbox is not selected the host does not receive the krb5Principal and krb5KDCEntry<br />

object classes.<br />

Posix account<br />

If this checkbox is not selected the host does not receive the posixAccount object class.<br />

Nagios support<br />

If this checkbox is not selected the host does not receive the univentionNagiosHostClass object<br />

class.<br />

For Windows hosts:<br />

Samba account<br />

If this checkbox is not selected the host does not receive the sambaSamAccount object class.<br />

Nagios support<br />

If this checkbox is not selected the host does not receive the univentionNagiosHostClass object<br />

class.<br />

Windows domains (Windows NT/2000/2003, Samba) which allow the <strong>UCS</strong> Samba domain a trust relation-<br />

ship require a domain trust account entry in the LDAP directory (see also Chapter 8.4.1.1).<br />
