’Private contact’ tab<br />

Phone numbers can consist of the numerals 0-9, the letters a-z in upper and lower case, and the ), (,<br />

/, + and - characters.<br />

Mobile telephone number<br />

The user’s mobile numbers can be entered here.<br />

Home telephone number<br />

The private fixed network phone number can be entered here.<br />

Pager telephone number<br />

Pager numbers can be entered here.<br />

Home postal address<br />

One or more of the user’s private postal addresses can be entered in this field. In <strong>UCS</strong> versions prior<br />

to 2.3 only one address could be saved in this field. If you have updated from an earlier version it will<br />

only be possible to save one address here.<br />

’Organisation’ tab<br />

Employee number<br />

Numbers for staff members can be entered in this field.<br />

Employee type<br />

The category of the staff member can be entered here.<br />

Department number<br />

The department number of the staff member can be entered here.<br />

Room number<br />

The room number of the staff member.<br />

Superior<br />

The superior of the user can be selected here.<br />

’POSIX (Linux/UNIX)’ tab<br />

UNIX home directory (*)<br />

The path of the user’s home directory is to be entered here. By default, /home/ followed by the user<br />

name is preset. The declaration of the home directory should be unique across the domain.
