Use global spam folder
If this option is used, e-mails classified as spam will not be delivered to the user’s personal spam
folder but to a global spam folder instead.
’Contact’ tab
Attention:
The data relating to the phone number, street, city, and post code are stored in the attributes for the
business address within the LDAP directory. The private contact data can be entered on the Private
contact tab.
E-Mail address(es)
The e-mail address of the user is declared here. The values of this attribute are stored in the attribute
mail of the LDAP directory service. Most of the address books using an LDAP search function will
search for an e-mail address by this attribute. The syntax is identical to that of the Primary e-mail
address attribute.
Telephone number(s)
This field contains the user’s phone number. Valid characters include the numerals 0-9, the letters
a-z in upper and lower case, and the ), (, /, + and - characters.
Street
The user’s street and house number can be entered here.
Postal code
This field contains the post code of the user’s address.
City
This field contains the city of the user’s address.
Birthday
This field is used to save a user’s birthday.
User’s picture (JPEG format)
This mask can be used to save a picture of the user in LDAP in JPEG format. In the default settings
the file size is not limited; a size limit can be imposed using Univention Configuration Registry variable
directory/manager/jpegphoto/maxsize.
