Thus the use of usernames can be prevented which, for example, already exist in a local password file. When migrating a Windows domain, user accounts with forbidden usernames are not migrated. 136

Package list The names of the software packages should be entered in this field that are to be installed or unin- stalled via software distribution. 4.5.12.10 Services With Settings: Service objects, preset values can be defined which specify whether a UCS system is to offer a certain system service. The default values defined here can be assigned to individual computers in computer management (see ’Services’ tab in the Chapter 4.5.4). This is currently supported on the Univention groupware server systems for the Kolab service and Scalix service. ’General’ tab Service name (*) The name of the service to be offered by a UCS system. 4.5.13 User-defined attributes One of the targets when developing UCS is the possibility for the operator to extend the system. Therefore, on the one hand UCS utilises open standards such as LDAP, on the other hand especially developed interfaces are documented and designed for extendibility.
