5.4 Wizards<br />

Password can be configured for download servers which require an authentication. A software component<br />

is only available in the Package management after it has been Enabled.<br />

All these settings can be subsequently made for components which are already configured, by clicking the<br />

Configure button in the list.<br />

The Version specifies for which <strong>UCS</strong> versions a component should be installed. If the field is left blank,<br />

the component is integrated for all currently installed minor releases, e.g., for an installation with <strong>UCS</strong> 2.3<br />

for <strong>UCS</strong> 2.0 to 2.3. Similarly, if current is entered in this field, all minor releases for this components are<br />

enabled, with the additional verification, however, that an update to a new minor release can only occur if<br />

the component for this minor release is also available.<br />

As with the standard repositories, components are differentiated between maintained and unmaintained<br />

components.<br />

5.4 Wizards<br />

<strong>Univention</strong> Management Console offers several wizards for performing standard procedures during the<br />

implementation of services. These wizards combine the basic settings of individual <strong>UCS</strong> components, and<br />

can be of particular help in during the initial implementation.<br />

5.4.1 Basis<br />

The Basis wizard has the purpose of performing basic settings of the <strong>UCS</strong> system; these include the<br />

following values:<br />

• Host name<br />
