This 2-hour web-based course is designed <strong>for</strong> a broad<br />
Federal audience—from senior managers to those<br />
directly involved in the Continuity of Operations<br />
(COOP) planning ef<strong>for</strong>t. The course provides a<br />
working knowledge of the COOP guidance. The<br />
course also provides activities to enhance your<br />
COOP program.<br />

and Requirements. The course covers program<br />
requirements and elements and support requirements<br />
and describes the roles and responsibilities of the<br />
Continuity Program Manager and other key players<br />
in developing a viable continuity program.<br />
Although this course directly addresses continuity<br />
requirements <strong>for</strong> Federal Executive Branch<br />
organizations, the course is also useful to State, local,<br />
territorial, and Tribal governments.<br />

This program includes four units of instruction<br />
covering such topics as an overview, eligibility, kickoff<br />
meeting, project <strong>for</strong>mulation, and small project<br />
validation. The materials include a resource center which<br />
includes public assistance policy publications, <strong>for</strong>ms,<br />
glossary, and end-of-course examination. The course<br />
is designed <strong>for</strong> all audiences including Federal, State,<br />
Tribal, and local emergency management staffs with<br />
responsibilities in FEMA’s Public Assistance Program.<br />
It is highly recommended <strong>for</strong> individuals who need a<br />
basic understanding of the Public Assistance process.<br />
