to <strong>the</strong> Church or to Timothy. By consulting<br />

<strong>the</strong> Fa<strong>the</strong>rs, according to whom, he <strong>and</strong> his<br />

brethren have sworn to explain <strong>the</strong> <strong>scripture</strong>s,<br />

he will find some referring <strong>the</strong>m to <strong>the</strong> one, <strong>and</strong><br />
