In one point, however, all are agreed, tiiat
supreme authority is lodged somewhere in tlic
Church of Rome. The person who believes

the foundation of his faith. A few passages from
the Fathers, perverted or misunderstood, and
forged decrees of the Councils, are the only
proofs which Papists have ever been able to produce
