Thank you tothe <strong>Legion</strong> Branches, members, and individuals who collected, composed, and submitted stories that contributed to the greatsuccess of these publications.The professional expertise of Fenety Marketing has raised funds through the selling of advertising in these books and througha public telephone solicitation. The proceeds raised are being used to improve our services to Veterans and <strong>Legion</strong> programsin more than 150 communities we serve throughout <strong>BC</strong> and the <strong>Yukon</strong>.This unique publication is dedicated to the thousands of Veterans and ex-service personnel who have served their country sowell during times of war and peace. This book will help future generations better understand the sacrifices made during thesetimes of great conflict, and to better understand the purpose and objects of The Royal Canadian <strong>Legion</strong>.We have included a submission form to be used for additional stories. We encourage everyone to submit stories about theirfamilies with military backgrounds. The submissions should be up to 200 words in length, and contain a photo as well. Weretain the right to edit but will not make any changes to content; if you misspell your name or give the wrong information, wemay not make the necessary changes.All submissions should be sent to Gary Peters “Project Coordinator, <strong>BC</strong>/<strong>Yukon</strong> <strong>Command</strong> Military ServiceRecognition Book”.E-mail to garypeters@shaw.ca is the preferred method of receiving submissions.If you do not have e-mail capability, perhaps you could ask someone with such access to assist. Please send stories and photostogether in the same e-mail.
