British ColumBia / <strong>Yukon</strong> <strong>Command</strong>Carnduff, Ross WilsonRoss was born in Carnduff, Saskatchewan in 1922. He served in the Navyduring World War Two on HMCS St. Croix and seven Royal Navy vessels,sailing to Murmansk and in the North Atlantic, the Mediterranean, and theSouth Pacific. Ross has been a <strong>Legion</strong> member for sixty years and iscurrently a member of Seaview <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #257 in Lantzville, <strong>BC</strong>. Apicture he painted of HMCS Glasgow hangs in the <strong>Legion</strong>.Carroll, Andrew William JohnAndrew was born in Sudbury, Ontario in 1938 and was educated in Windsor, Ontariobefore enlisting in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1955. After completing basictraining in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, he served at the NATO School ofEnglish at RCAF London, Ontario for one year. He was then transferred to Aylmer,Ontario, for trade training after which he was sent to RCAF Comox, 307 (M/P)Squadron on anti-submarine operations. Andrew joined the Public Relations Branchof the service and was stationed at No. 5 AirDiv, Vancouver and Air DefenceHeadquarters in Montreal. Andrew is the founding President of No. 801 (Vancouver)Wing of the Air Force Association of Canada and was awarded the Queen’s GoldenJubilee Medal for his service to Veterans in 2002. He is a volunteer with the RCMPCommunity Policing and an Elder of Trinity United Church in Port Coquitlam.Andrew is a member of the Executive Committee of <strong>Legion</strong> Branch #133 in PortCoquitlam and is Branch Chair of Education and Branch Service Officer.Cassin, Douglas CameronDouglas was born in Waskada, Manitoba in 1919. He served in the Armybetween 1940 and 1946 during World War Two with the Queen’s OwnCameron Highlanders of Canada in Canada, France, and throughoutNorthwest Europe.
