PRELIMINARY DATASH-5 conventions 39Bit name Bit Size Volatile? Synopsis TypeUNSOL_RESP 3 1 ✓ An unsolicited response has beenreceivedRW orRESOperationWhen readWhen writtenHARD reset 0This bit is set by the module hardware if the module detectsthat it has received an unsolicited response. This bit will becleared autonomously by hardware only at hard reset.A response is unsolicited if it does not match an outstandingrequest sent by that module. If a module is incapable ofgenerating requests then all responses to that module areunsolicited. All responses with illegal destinations are routedto the DEBUG where they are signalled as unsolicitedresponses. It is possible that a module may receive an unsolicitedresponse which is not detected as unsolicited. This willcause that module to exhibit architecturally undefinedbehavior.Software can attempt to clear this flag by writing a zero to it.However, this does not necessarily remove the cause of thiserror condition. If the error condition persists then this flagwill continue to be set until a subsequent hard reset.Returns current valueIf this bit is implemented by this module, writes update thecurrent value. If this bit is not implemented by this module, writes are ignored. Software may write to this bit at any time.Table 8: P-error flagsD R A FT05-SA-10001 v1.0SuperH, Inc.SH-5 System Architecture, Volume 1: System
