In fact it can be much more difficult to producea high quality poster and present it effectively thanto present a short communication. They are a usefulmethod of communicating ideas about new approachesto education and research, they are highly visible, beingavailable throughout the conference, and many educationalinnovations have begun their life as a poster. To give themeven greater value, themed sessions are scheduled in theAMEE programme, where presenters introduce the keymessages of the poster to the group, followed by a groupdiscussion. Each session will have a Chairperson, who oftenhas a specific interest in the theme of the session. “Hintson preparing posters for AMEE Conferences” is available onthe AMEE website: http://www.amee.org/getattachment/Conferences/AMEE-2014/Programme/Abstracts/Hints-onpreparing-posters-for-AMEE-Conferences.pdfPoster Specifications and mounting instructions:• Posters should be a maximum of 95 cm wide and 150cm high (portrait orientation).
