<strong>Bonn</strong> comes in 5th in the ranking of the most expensive<br />
German cities, where the real estate prices are expected<br />
to continue rising until 2030. The city and surrounding<br />
region are popular with tenants, buyers and tradesmen<br />
alike – which is also mirrored in the real estate business.<br />
The Rhine metropolis is booming, and rental apartments<br />
and buying opportunities are become scarce. <strong>Bonn</strong> is one<br />
of the most popular cities in Germany. The Postbank<br />
“Wohnatlas 2016” study forecasts population growth of 3.69<br />
percent until 2030. The price development associated with<br />
it, with regard to owner-occupied apartments, is set to<br />
increase by 12.04 percent. Already today, those parties<br />
interested in renting and buying properties have a hard time<br />
finding the matching object – and this applies to an even<br />
greater extent when they are searching for exclusive real<br />
estate in favoured locations. “Everyone wishing to realise<br />
the dream of living in the own four walls is having a hard<br />
time. In the field of owner-occupied apartments there is a<br />
noticeable lack of offers in the mid- and high-range price<br />
segment. There will also be no change in the precarious<br />
market situation for private homes in the foreseeable future“,<br />
explains Franz Lanzendörfer, owner of the <strong>Bonn</strong>-based realestate<br />
agency.<br />
Office market is characterised by low vacancy level<br />
