GmbH and is a global leader in the field of hot-rolled
special steel profiles for international industrial businesses.
Mannstaedt’s production facilities allow an almost infinite
range of different forms – ranging from simple profiles
with non-standardized dimensions right up to highlycomplex
profiles.
The profiles are used in numerous sectors such as the
forklift truck, automotive, commercial vehicle and construction
industries, but also for agricultural machinery,
ship building, mining, mechanical and plant engineering
as well as for railway technology.
There is almost no industry that does not benefit from
Mannstaedt solutions. Besides hot rolling further pro -
cessing such as cutting-to-length, cold drawing, shot
blasting, longitudinal welding or other finishing steps are
available.
Day by day around 750 highly motivated employees
guarantee an outstanding quality and performance level
to all customers worldwide. In 2015 Mannstaedt reached
a total turnover of around 200 million Euro. More than half
of it was generated outside of Germany.
Dieter Wilden, Mannstaedt’s Managing Director in charge
of sales and production is dedicated to create and retain
industrial jobs especially in Germany, because “this kind of
industry is a core sector and cannot be replaced one to
one by jobs in the service sector”. Wilden wants to stand
by Mannstaedt’s location – not only because of the short
distances to key accounts, but also due to the employees’
high qualification and potential.
He emphasizes the company’s responsibility towards
the society. An excellent company with a sustainable
turnover and a sense of responsibility towards the region,
the society, educational institutions and other businesses
should remain in the core market of its customers. In addition,
especially customers in Asian markets rely on special
profiles made in Germany – in this regard Mannstaedt’s
production premises in its home country are a clear
