more careful in our dealings with resources, medium-sized<br />

part, released into the open via the ventilation systems.<br />

cumulated underneath the hall’s ceiling. A well-wrought<br />
climate concept with intelligent ventilation technology<br />
provided a solution for this problem. It ensured enhanced<br />
heat distribution, improved the supply of fresh air and<br />
provided a healthier indoor climate. By means of this, the<br />
heating energy deployed in the hall could be reduced by a<br />
grand total of 90 percent. Today, heating is only required<br />
extremely infrequently, and maximally during the Christmas<br />
and New Year period.<br />
The Dinova plant in Königswinter employs more than 100<br />
persons and produces emulsion paints and plasters for professional<br />
painters. Thanks to LED luminaires and presence<br />
detectors in the illuminated areas, the company has attained<br />
energy savings of 70 percent. In addition to this, with the<br />
help of a new heating installation with HRS, the overall gas<br />
consumption could be decreased by a total of 28 percent.<br />
The lesson is clear: sustainable business management is<br />
worthwhile – and this can be achieved without the fear of<br />
stinting growth and competitiveness.
