eo is the distance from the centre of the web to the shear centre.<br />

Cs is the distance from the centriodal axis to the shear centre.<br />

Cy is the distance from the back of the web to the centroidal axis.<br />

Ceq is the distance from the back of the web to the equal area axis.<br />

n = F/(Ag ·py), where F is the factored axial load, Ag is the gross cross sectional area and py is the design strength of the section.<br />

For lower values of n, the reduced plastic modulus, Sr = K1 - K2.n 2<br />

For higher values of n, the reduced plastic modulus, Sr = K3(1 - n)(K4 + n)
