When designing to BS 5950: Part 1: 2000, the load factors in Table 30.7 should be<br />

used.<br />

Deflection<br />

Deflection of floor plating under the action of dead and imposed loads should not<br />

exceed B/100, where B is the minimum spanning dimension of the plate.<br />
