Values irs italic are greater than the double shear capacity of the bolt.<br />

Bearing values assume standard clearance holes.<br />

If oversize or short slotted holes are used, bearing values should be multiplied by 0.7.<br />

If long slotted or kidney shaped holes are used, bearing values should be multiplied by 0.5.<br />

If appropriate, shear capacity must be reduced for large packings, large grip lengths and long joints.<br />
