consent of instructor. Explorations of methodologies toward<br />

conceptual and perceptual image transformations.<br />

ART 6xxxM: Printmaking Seminar: Mastering Process and<br />

Content (3; max: 6) Prereq: graduate standing in studio art or<br />

consent of instructor. Complex ideation, approaches, and material<br />

handling to orchestrate a unified series of images that equally<br />

support concept and methods.<br />

DIG 6746C: <strong>Graduate</strong> Seminar in Sensors and Electronics (3)<br />

Prereq: digital media art students only, DIG 3130 (or equivalent<br />

programming experience) or consent of instructor. Explores how<br />

devices respond to and interact with human physical action.<br />

Students create artwork, exploring physical interfaces beyond<br />

mouse/keyboard/screen interactions through the use of<br />

microcontrollers and sensors.<br />

IDC 6505C: Programming for Artists (3; max: 6) Prereq:<br />

graduate level in <strong>School</strong> of Art and Art History or consent of<br />

instructor. Fundamental programming concepts that enable the<br />

digital artist to take full advantage of the range of computermediated<br />

interactivity.<br />
