3002C/5005C. Principles of ecology of plant diseases with emphasis
on the effects of the climatic environment on the development of
disease in populations of plants and the implications with regard to
the strategy of disease control. Offered spring semester in oddnumbered
years.
PLP 6502: Host-Parasite Interactions I(3) Prereq: PLP
3002C/5005C and one course each in biochemistry and genetics.
Genetics and molecular biology of host-parasite interactions with
emphasis on mechanisms of pathogenesis. Offered fall semester in
odd-numbered years.

any field of plant pathology including diseases of all major crop
groups.
