instructor. Recent progress in mammalian stem cell research.
GMS 6335: Advanced Stem Cell Biology: Tissue Engineering
(1) Prereq: GMS 6331 and GMS 6336 Current state of the art in
using stem cells and other technologies to engineer tissues and
organs for therapeutic use.
GMS 6336: Advanced Stem Cell Biology: Regenerative
Medicine (1) Prereq: GMS 6331. Potential clinical applications of
tissue-specific, adult stem cells; derivation, manipulation, uses, and
limitations.
