<strong>Graduate</strong> programs are available leading to Master of Science in<br />

Statistics, Master of Statistics, and Doctor of Philosophy<br />

degrees. Minimum requirements for these degrees are described in<br />

the General Information section of this catalog.<br />

Both master's programs usually require 2 years of course work<br />

including material covered in STA 6207, 6208, 6326, 6327, 6246,<br />

and 6329. In addition to earning a "Ph.D. pass" on the first-year<br />

evaluation, requirements for the Ph.D. degree include STA 6466,<br />

6467, 7249, and 7346.<br />

Interdisciplinary programs: The Department offers a co-major<br />

program in conjunction with the Fisher <strong>School</strong> of Accounting leading<br />

to the Doctor of Philosophy degree in statistics and business<br />

administration accounting. The Department is also a partner in the<br />

interdisciplinary concentration in quantitative finance, along with the<br />

Departments of Mathematics; Industrial and Systems Engineering;<br />

and Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate. For information on these<br />

programs, consult the departmental graduate coordinator.<br />

Combined program: The Department offers a bachelor's/master's<br />
