and outside evaluation and ranking.<br />

ENT 6416: Venture Finance (2) Capital structure and financing<br />

needs of start-up companies. Valuation of nonpublicly traded<br />

companies. Intellectual property.<br />

ENT 6506: Social Entrepreneurship (2) Process of starting,<br />

financing, assessing and managing succession of mission-based forprofit<br />

and not-for-profit ventures.<br />

ENT 6616: Creativity in Entrepreneurship (2) Explores the<br />

fundamental tools used to make both individuals and organizations<br />

more creative and innovative.<br />

ENT 6905: Individual Work in Entrepreneurship (1-4; max: 8)<br />

Individual work in an Entrepreneurship related topic.<br />

ENT 6930: Special Topics (1-4; max: 8) Rotating topics in special<br />

topics in entrepreneurship-related fields of study.<br />

ENT 6946: Entrepreneurial Consulting Project (2) To teach<br />

entrepreneurship by working the through real problems of real<br />

companies. To teach team dynamics, goal setting, and project<br />

management in an unscripted environment. To aid the economy by<br />

producing value-adding solutions to business problems.<br />

ENT 6957: International Studies in Entrepreneurship (1-4;<br />

max: 8) Academic credit for courses taken overseas.<br />

FIN 5405: Business Financial Management (3) Prereq: ACG<br />

5065. Required of all MBA degree candidates who have had no basic<br />

business finance course. Analysis of business financing and<br />

investing decisions.<br />

FIN 5437: Finance I: Asset Valuation, Risk, and Return (2)<br />

Prereq: must be M.B.A. student. Required of all M.B.A. students who<br />

lack basic business finance course. Analysis of business financing<br />

and investing decisions. Selected financial tools and concepts. Risk<br />

analysis and capital budgeting.<br />

FIN 5439: Finance II: Capital Structure and Risk Management<br />

Issues (2) Prereq: FIN 5437. Required of all M.B.A. students.<br />

Continuation of FIN 5437. Focus on corporate financial decision
