FOL 6326: Technology in Foreign Language Education (3)<br />

Prereq: SPN 6943, FRE 6943, or equivalent. Technology in<br />

classrooms. The interface between pedagogy and technology.<br />

FOW 6930: Special Study in Romance Languages and<br />

Literatures (1-3; max: 9) Rotating topics in literary theory,<br />

cultural studies, or literary study involving two or more Romance<br />

languages.<br />

French<br />

The Department of Language, Literature & Cultures offer programs<br />

leading to the Ph.D., with a concentration in French, and the M.A. in<br />

French. Minimum requirements for the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees are<br />

given in the General Information section of this catalog.<br />

Candidates for the master's degree in French have two options:<br />

literature and culture, or language and linguistics. Prerequisite for<br />

admission to graduate work is an undergraduate major in the<br />

language, including advanced courses in both literature and<br />

language, or the equivalent.<br />

All M.A. and Ph.D. students in French must take Introduction to<br />

<strong>Graduate</strong> Study and Research (FRW 6805). All M.A. and Ph.D.<br />

students in French must take Romance Language Teaching Methods<br />

(FRE 6940, 6943). All French M.A. Option A candidates are strongly
