or consent of instructor. Theory and analysis of gas turbine engines<br />

EML 5516: Design of Thermal Systems (3) Prereq: EML 4141<br />

and 4702 or equivalent. Modeling of thermal equipment; system<br />

simulation; optimization, search methods, thermal system design<br />

and optimization using dynamic, geometric, and linear<br />

programming; simulation of large systems, vector and reduced<br />

EML 5526: Finite Element Analysis and Application (3) Prereq:<br />

human motion. Introduction to modeling human body segments to<br />

materials. Mechanical properties of the human body's hard and soft<br />
