THE FIRST YEARS OF THE BOLSHEVIK POWER IN AJARA
(`BLACK~ AND `RED~ MEDJLISES)
This scientific work deals with the work of the Medjlis which was created by the decision of the Congress on
August 31, 1920. This Medjils was named as `Black~ by Bolsheviks. In the work it is described the activity of the
first Medjlis. Bolsheviks, as an alternative to the first Medjlis, created `Red~ medjlis. This `Red~ Medjlis joined the
committee of poor’s later. In the scientific work it is analyzed a lot of new materials concerning the work of both
Medjlises.
