the inaugural meeting held on October 20, 2014 in room 1

of the Department of Education of the Federal University

of Lavras, drawn up in the minutes book and governed

by statutes. The center emerged from the need of the

professors of the UFLA Department of Education to create

a space for discussion and studies concerning language in

its different forms of expression, as well as reflection on the

processes of reading and writing as socially constructed

practices.

language, reading and writing with the purpose of

organizing studies, courses, lectures, debates and events

that may contribute to the theme.
