Background:
NEMAPORT was founded in March 2014 by students
in agricultural engineering interested in learning,
researching, testing and disseminating knowledge related
to portable machines (mowers, harvesters, pruners and
the like). The group uses the training facilities of STIHL
FERRAMENTAS to improve its practice in and knowledge
of the aforementioned machines.
Overall Objectives:
To bring together professionals, students and creators
working in the area of portable machines, with the
purpose of organizing courses, symposiums, seminars,
technical meetings, lectures, debates, field work and
other events that may contribute to raising knowledge.
Areas of Expertise:
1. Portable Machines: Research and studies on portable
machines (mowers, harvesters, pruners and the like.)
2. Maintenance and Operation: Correct maintenance
and operation of mowers, harvesters, pruners.
3. Ergonomics and Safety: Safety in the operation
and maintenance of portable machines and similar
equipment.
