Background:
Alfa Pública Junior Consulting (Alfa Pública Jr.) is a
management consulting junior enterprise founded
at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) by public
administration students that aims to offer quality services
and excellence, processes and professional training
through consulting and advisory services at more
affordable prices to public organizations such as city halls,
state companies and agencies and foundations of cities
in the south and southeast of the state of Minas Gerais.
The company provides consulting services and, being a
junior enterprise, is exempt from taking part in bidding
processes of public agencies that require its services. In
addition to providing students with the opportunity to
acquire practical knowledge and team spirit, it assists in
the development of the company and technical skills with
professional practices, generating opportunities for the
job market, besides developing professional competence
through project design and contact with clients.
Overall Objectives:
To affords its members the necessary conditions for the
practical application of theoretical knowledge related
to their area of professional training, encouraging the
entrepreneurial vocation of students, providing them
with a professional view and society with a return on
investments.
Areas of Expertise:
1. Strategic Planning: Diagnosis of internal and external
problems and drafting of an organizational plan to solve
problems, also proposing action and evaluation.
2. Execution of public projects: Operationalization of
projects proposed by clients.
3. Advisory: Proposal for action and implementation of
intervention in order to solve problems.
4. Transparency: Compliance of city administrations with
the transparency law concerning standards for disclosing
information.
