Background:
This is a consulting and project design and execution
junior enterprise in veterinary medicine. It was founded
in November 2014 by a group of first-term veterinary
medicine students at the Federal University of Lavras who,
upon having contact with their course, realized the need
and relevance of such an entity as a tool for professional
growth and improvement. Since its foundation it has
provided its members with learning and developed
practical cooperation and proactivity with its partners.
Overall Objectives:
To be recognized for its quality, commitment and innovation,
always focusing on sustainability, animal welfare and
the continuous improvement of its clients’ processes and
products, aiming at the personal, professional development
and knowledge of its members.
Areas of Expertise:
1. PET: Support in legislation, strategic management, documentation
for internationalization of products, maintenance of hygiene.
2. Dairy and Beef Cattle: Development and implementation
of animal welfare programs for both beef and dairy cattle
production. Guidance in regional herd hygiene issues.
3. Equines: Insemination, dental and hoof treatment,
maintenance of hygiene conditions of the regional equine stock.
4. Goats, Sheep and Pigs: Development of programs to
maintain the hygiene of herds, seeking to increase production
and add value to products.
