science processes to measure the science processes under study.Also, the researcher used the 30-item test of reflective thinking skillswhich measures such skills as visual sight, distinguishingmistakes , giving convincing explanations ,finding deductions andgiving suggesting solutions . The instruments were tested forcredibility by referring them to specialists, applying the scienceprocesses and reflective thinking skills tests on a pilot sample of 30students to ensure credibility and reliability. The reliabilitycoefficient was measured through two methods: the split-half methodwhere the reliability coefficient on the science processes andreflective thinking skills tests were (0,947) and (0,951) respectively,and the Cooder Richardson -20 method where the reliabilitycoefficient on the science processes and reflective thinking skillstests were (0,965) and(0,963) respectively.The researcher applied the science processes and reflective thinkingskills tests on study groups as pre tests to ensure equivalence and aspost test after conducting the experiment. The researcher also usedthe proper statistical method to test the hypotheses.T-test was applied on two independent samples in addition to Etasquare to measure the effect analogical strategy on the scienceprocesses and reflective thinking skills for purposes of answeringthe study questions.The study concluded with the following results:1-The content analysis results show that the science processes to bedeveloped for the 8 th graders in science are as follows : The firstrank is the action recognition with relative weight of 43.33%.Thesecond rank prediction with relative weight of 33.34%.The third rankis the classification process with relative weight of 23.34% ,Thetotal relative weight 33.33% in addition to other processes with verylow percentages.2. The content analysis results show that the reflective thinking to bedeveloped for the 8 th graders in science are as follows:The fourthskill which gives convincing explanations has occupied the first rankwith a relative weight 63.67%.Followed by the first skill(Thevision)which occupies the second rank in a relative weight 33.33%,whereas the second skill (Revelation of mistakes) has occupied thethird rank with a relative weight 13.33%.Then the fifth skill(Puttingsuggested Solutions) has occupied the third rank with a relativeweight 10.00%.Finally,the third skill (Access to deductions) ) has235
