Continuing Contract–Teacher’s
BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
COLUMBUS, OHIO
TEACHER'S CONTINUING CONTRACT
Agreement between the Board of Education of the City School District of Columbus, Ohio, herein referred to as "Board"
and EMPLOYEE NAME, herein referred to as "Teacher", pursuant to a Resolution duly adopted by the Board on DATE.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Schools has recommended the employment of the Teacher under a Continuing
Contract and the Board has approved such recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties to this Agreement for and in consideration of their mutual promises, do hereby agree as
follows:
The Board hereby enters into a Continuing Contract with the Teacher for the 2009-2010 year and continuing until said
contract is terminated or suspended as provided by law, and fi~es the salary of the T
eocher at the rate of$$$,$$$ per
year, or a proportional part of this sum for such portion of the year served, in accordance with the salary schedule set
forth in the currently effective Master Agreement between the Board and the Columbus Education Association or as it
may be amended during the duration of this contract. All paymen~ of salary hereunder shall be made in accordance
with one of the pay plans prescribed by the Board as selected by the Teacher.
2. The Teacher agrees to teach in the service of the Board for the aforesaid school year, consisting of 195 days as
provided in the Master Agreement between the Board and the Columbus Education Association, and soch succeeding
school years consisting of the agreed number of days, during the continuation of this contract.
3. The appointment made hereby is subject to the right to transfer the Teacher from grade to grade, from school to
school, and from one ranking to anc
