tives shall be permitted to work on Association business<br />
in their assigned school buildings until the arrival of<br />
their pupils each morning and immediately after their<br />
pupils’ departure each afternoon provided such activities<br />
do not interfere with the regular school responsibilities<br />
of such governors and faculty representatives. In addition,<br />
members of the Association’s <strong>Board</strong> of Governors<br />
and the Association’s faculty representatives shall be permitted<br />
to leave their assigned school buildings after their<br />
pupils’ departure in the afternoon in order to attend<br />
scheduled meetings of the Association provided such<br />
scheduled meetings do not interfere with the regular<br />
school responsibilities of such governors and faculty representatives.<br />
Governors and faculty representatives who<br />
leave their assigned school buildings after their pupils’<br />
departure in the afternoon shall advise the building<br />
administrator of the nature of their departure.<br />
109.11 Representativesofthe<strong>Board</strong> will not interfere with<br />
the faculty representative in scheduled hearings where<br />
theteacher is entitled to representation as provided in<br />
this <strong>Agreement</strong>. However, nothing in this provision is<br />
intended to limit, in any manner, the authority of the<br />
principal to give direction or to discipline the faculty<br />
representative except as provided in the scope of this article.<br />
109.12 <strong>Board</strong> representatives will advise the Association<br />
President of the payroll deduction procedures which will<br />
be followed by the <strong>Board</strong> for contributions to Teachers<br />
for Better Schools (TBS), to the United Negro College<br />
Fund (UNCF) and/or to the Ohio Tuition Trust<br />
Authority (OTTA). Such procedures will include furnishing<br />
the names and addresses to the appropriate<br />
organization of teachers making such contributions to<br />
TBS and such procedures will be developed in consultation<br />
with the Association. The reasonable cost recovery<br />
realized by the <strong>Board</strong> shall not exceed two cents ($.02)<br />
per month per deduction for TBS.<br />
109.13 The Association Senior Faculty Representative in<br />
each Columbus school will not be assigned duties during<br />
his/her duty period.<br />
109.14 The Association will take theprimaryresponsibility<br />
for the distribution, collection and filing of deduction<br />
forms or cards for charities named in this article.<br />
Article 110<br />
Grievance Procedure<br />
110.01 During the course of this <strong>Agreement</strong>, problems may<br />
arise concerning the alleged violation, misinterpretation<br />
or misapplication of the provisions of this <strong>Agreement</strong>.<br />
When such problems arise, an attempt should be made<br />
to settle them informally by the teacher or teachers<br />
