Grosz YitzhakGrosz ErnőBorn in Debrecen on 5.6.1924Member of “Hanoar Hatzioni”Yitzhak joined the movement in Budapest at the age of fourteen. In 1942and 1943 he gave assistance to the refugees arriving from Poland. InMay 1944 he was enlisted in a forced labour unit. Yitzhak escaped andjoined the movement’s activities while equipped with forged Christiandocuments under the name of Cserkész Tibor. He distributed forgeddocuments to the forced labour camps and to the Protected Houses. Hewas engaged in obtaining food which he delivered to the bunkers and the“Glass House”. After the liberation Yitzhak continued to organize Jewswho were liberated from the extermination camps for aliya. He operatedbetween Budapest and Bucharest. After the liberation Yitzhak took part inthe organization of 200 Jewish children and accompanied them to Austriaand Germany on their way to Eretz Israel (Palestine). In April 1946 hemade aliya together with his wife Edit. He was one of the founders of theeducational Institute in Alonei Yitzhak, where he and his wife worked formany years. He moved to Haifa where he still resides.Grün Shoshanna-ShoshaKlein RózsikaBorn in Nagyszőllős (Vinohragyiv) in 1923Died in 1988 in IsraelMember of “Bnei Akiva”Shosha stayed in Budapest in 1944. She took part in the Death Marchtowards Austria. Shosha was saved thanks to Swiss ProtectionDocuments she was given near the border. She returned to Budapestand arrived at the “Glass House” on Vadász Street. She was anunderground activist until the liberation on 18.1.1945.Shosha made aliya.
