Wetzler OraKohn OlgaBorn in Vágsellye (Šal’a) in 1920Member of “Maccabi Hatzair”Ora moved to Budapest where she learned machine knitting. She helpedrefugees from Slovakia. Ora distributed forged documents and ranvarious errands. She left Hungary at the end of June 1944 on the train ofthe Relief and Rescue Committee. She made aliya in September 1945.She stayed in Kfar Hamaccabi and Kibbutz Metzuba. She was one of thefounders of Kibbutz Tze’elim. Nowadays she is a member of KfarHahoresh.Wetzler Michael 'Misho'Born in Vágújhely (Nové Mesto nad Váhom) on31.12.1913 Died in February 1970 in IsraelMember of “Maccabi Hatzair”In 1942 Misho was smuggled into Budapest as a refugee. After theGermans invaded Hungary in 1944, he was active in the return-tiyul.Later he worked with the team of forgers of documents on Rózsa Streetand was in charge of their distribution. Misho made aliya in 1949.Wetzler ShlomoWetzler AndrásBorn in Léva (Levice) in 1921Died in 1996 in IsraelMember of “Maccabi Hatzair”Shlomo learned to be a tailor. In 1938 he was engaged in organizationalactivities for the movement in Hungary. In 1939 he went to a hahshara.He was one of the main activists of his movement.In 1942 Shlomo was enlisted in a forced labor unit and served there for21 months. He was an underground activist. He distributed documents,transferred refugees and money to the border area in order to finance theB'riha operation. He left Hungary at the end of June 1944 on the train ofthe Relief and Rescue Committee.Shlomo made aliya in September 1945. He was one of the founders ofKibbutz Tze’elim.
