Hemaintained contact with the communist underground, especially with theDemény Group which held meetings in his house.After the liberation he worked for the Joint. Later he went into the furbusiness. He himselfforged documents. Moshe went to Miskolc in order to distributedocuments among the Jews there. He returned to Budapest where healso distributed forged documents. He transferred grenades, ammunition,information and documents. He was active in “Department A”, thechildren’s department, on Wekerle Street under the auspices of theInternational Red Cross. He delivered food to the children’s houses in atruck and gathered Jewish orphans mainly from the ghetto.Part of the time he operated while wearing the uniform of the Arrow CrossParty. During one of his missions he was caught but managed to escapein a cunning way.After the liberation he obtained food for orphaned Jewish children.
