In Budapest he trained olim, organized aseminar in Yiddish and was also one of the lecturers.On 9.7.1945 Asher made aliya with his family on the “Exodus” ship. Helived for a short period of time on a kibbutz but later became one of thefounders of Moshav Omer.Asher wrote a book: “Aviv Aharon” (The Last Spring) about MáramarosJewry.Einhorn MenahemBorn in Irhóc (Vilhivci) on 2.10.1920Died on 20.11.2000 in IsraelMember of “Dror Habonim”In February-March 1944 Menahem dug bunkers in the Máramarosdistrict with the “Dror Habonim” group.He made aliya and died in Israel.Eisenberg Hava (Weisz)Gábor ÉvaBorn in Békéscsaba on 25.10.1923Member of “Hanoar Hatzioni”Hava joined the movement in 1943. In 1944 she was released from aforced labor camp and arrived in Budapest. Together with MordehaiWeisz she distributed Protection Documents, found locations for bunkersand was sent on various missions on behalf of the underground. Havawas liberated while staying in the “Glass House” and married MordehaiWeisz.She made aliya in 1947. Hava worked with the Committee for AtomicEnergy in Nahal Sorek and in the Israeli Embassy in Washington.
