Joseph joined the undergroundand was sent to work in the children’s house on 90, Dob Street whichwas under the protection of the International Red Cross in Budapest.After the liberation Joseph was in charge, in Germany, of a group ofabout 200 children who were going to make aliya. He himself made aliyain 1947. Joseph is a member of Kibbutz Ga’aton. For many years he wasa teacher. He is now in charge of the kibbutz archives.
