Böér ShoshaSomló ZsuzsaBorn in Budapest in 1929Member of “Hashomer Hatzair”As a high school student Shosha was a member of the “Hashloshim”group which was affiliated to the “Hashomer Hatzair” movement. In April1944 her family villa was requisitioned by the Germans and Shoshamoved to a Protected House. She took part in the underground activities.She did errands for the movement, especially the transfer of forgeddocuments. Shosha succeeded in smuggling her father from the forcedlabor camp to a hiding place. In November 1944 she moved to a nunneryand continued her underground activities.Shosha is a member of Kibbutz Ga’aton.Böeri Ya'akovBlau KárolyBorn in Vágsellye (Šal’a) in 1926Died on 1.08.2007 in IsraelMember of “Maccabi Hatzair”In April 1942 Yaakov crossed the border into Hungary with his threesisters. They were caught and returned to Slovakia but on their secondattempt they succeeded in crossing the border without being arrested.Ya'akov engaged in the forging of documents. In December 1944Ya'akov was caught, interrogated for a week and tortured but did notreveal anything about his connection to the underground. He wastransferred to the Toloncház prison where he was detained for threeweeks.
