He was an underground activist.Equipped with forged documents he joined the fascist Arrow Cross Party.Shlomo escorted the Jews to the gathering places and succeeded inliberating many of them. Eventually his Jewish identity was discovered.He was taken to the bank of the Danube and shot dead.Schwartz AmikamBorn in Pozsony (Bratislava)Member of “Dror Habonim”Amikam arrived in Budapest with his sister, Herta, as a refugee. After theGermans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, he stayed in one of the bunkerswhich was taken by the fascists and was imprisoned. Amikam wasrescued on 25.12.194a by comrades of the movement.
