He was asportsman and a sports businessman. He approached the Zionistmovement and the “Gordon Circle”. He sent his son to Eretz Israel(Palestine) in 1941 with a “Hashomer Hatzair” group. Árpád saved Jewishchildren from Slovakia. His apartment served as a workshop for forgedpapers where Shraga Weil and David Gur worked for a while.
