During the war hewas an underground activist and distributed forged documents. He wenton missions to the country towns. During such a mission Moshe wascaught and deported to Auschwitz. After the liberation he returned toHungary and was among the founders of Kibbutz “Ehad BeMay”. In 1946Moshe made aliya with his wife, Tova, and was one of the founders ofKibbutz Yassur. Moshe was a musician.Kirschner ShoshannEdinger ÁgnesBorn on 13.03.1923 in BudapestDied on 29.12.2000 in IsraelMember of Hanoar HatzioniShoshana became a member of "Hanoar Hatzioni" in 1939. After theGermans invaded Hungary (19.3.1944) she took part in obtaining originalbirth certificates from the population register, in order to deliver them toher comrades. She was a liaison person between her movement andthose who held Aryan identification cards, and others who remained withtheir families in "Jewish Houses". As of October 1944, Shoshanacontinued her work from the "Glass House" in delivering SwissProtection Papers (Schutzpass). She made aliya in 1946 and lived for awhile in a kibbutz. Shoshana was a nurse.Klein AnnaCsech AnnaBorn in Budapest on 28.7.1926Member of “Hashomer Hatzair”At the age of fifteen Anna joined the movement where she met her futurehusband, Uri Herman, whom she married in April 1944 in a small,intimate, family wedding. She obtained authentic documents from thePopulation Registry in Budapest, distributed them and took part in otherunderground activities. On 28.5.1944 Anna, her husband and othercomrades were arrested and taken to the Gestapo headquarters onSchwabs Hill (Svábhegy). Anna was interrogated and tortured but did notreveal any information. After about three weeks she was transferred toother detention places and eventually taken to the Sárvár ghetto.
