Under their influenceNusi joined the movement. She was an underground activist under thefictitious name of Varga Ilona. Nusi obtained Hungarian documents. Sheworked in a large workshop producing rubber seals. She stole seals andother materials for the forgery of documents and gave them to DanZimmerman. Nusi made aliya in 1944 via Romania within the frameworkof the tiyul.
