Braun YitzhakBraun FerencBorn in Sopron on 25.3.1922Member of “Hanoar Hatzioni”Yitzhak was among the very first members of the movement in theSopron area. He completed some hahsharot and took part in the wintercamp in Balatonboglár in 1943. He distributed forged documents. In thesummer of 1944 Yitzhak went on a tiyul to Romania.In Israel Yitzhak worked for El-Al (the Israeli Airlines). He resides in Tel-Aviv.Breuer MeirBreuer GézaBorn in Miskolc in 1923Disappeared/murdered in 1944Member of “Hashomer Hatzair”Meir was member of the Miskolc ken of Hashomer Hatzair. He was anupholsterer. Meir was mobilized for forced labor, escaped and arrived inBudapest. He worked for the underground, delivering food to thechildren’s houses and the Budapest ghetto. In December 1944 Meir leftWekerle Sándor Street with a delivery of food and disappeared.Broshi DovBorsodi TiborBorn in Budapest in1923Died in 2003 in IsraelMember of “Hanoar Hatzi’oni”In December 1943, in the “Hanoar Hatzi’oni”camp in Balatonboglár, Dovorganized underground operations together with other members of themovement, who had arrived from Poland as refugees. He took part in theorganization of the bunker of the movement in Szepløcsepkøbarlang inBuda. In March 1944 Dov traveled to country towns to warn his comradesthere of the imminent danger for Jews.Dov crossed the border into Romania and arrived in Eretz Israel(Palestine). Dov was an economist and worked for Bank Leumi. He wasappointed to the Committee for the Inspection of Atomic Energy in Viennaand was a department manager.
