He resides in Tel-Aviv.Breuer MeirBreuer GézaBorn in Miskolc in 1923Disappeared/murdered in 1944Member of “Hashomer Hatzair”Meir was member of the Miskolc ken of Hashomer Hatzair. He was anupholsterer. Meir was mobilized for forced labor, escaped and arrived inBudapest. He worked for the underground, delivering food to thechildren’s houses and the Budapest ghetto. He took part in theorganization of the bunker of the movement in Szepløcsepkøbarlang inBuda. In March 1944 Dov traveled to country towns to warn his comradesthere of the imminent danger for Jews.Dov crossed the border into Romania and arrived in Eretz Israel(Palestine). Dov was an economist and worked for Bank Leumi. He wasappointed to the Committee for the Inspection of Atomic Energy in Viennaand was a department manager.
