*Any addenda to the code or st<strong>and</strong>ards <strong>and</strong> any interpretations, rulings, or cases issued by ASME shall be deemed<br />

to be adopted upon publication when approved by the advisory board.<br />

2. Outside Canada: as above, plus ASME Code symbol stamp <strong>and</strong> <strong>National</strong> <strong>Board</strong> registration.<br />

a. Manufacturers must file a Manufacturer’s Data Report (ASME or CSA) for each boiler or pressure vessel installed in<br />

the province. Forms <strong>and</strong> nameplate stamping shall include CRN <strong>of</strong> the design to which unit was constructed;<br />

b. Special design or construction requires approval <strong>and</strong> registration by the chief inspector;<br />

c. Manufacturers must submit designs <strong>and</strong> specifications in duplicate to the <strong>Boiler</strong> <strong>and</strong> Pressure Vessel Division for<br />

approval <strong>and</strong> registration before commencing fabrication <strong>of</strong> any boiler, pressure vessel, or pressure piping system<br />

for installation in the province;<br />

d. Manufacturers <strong>of</strong> valves, fittings, <strong>and</strong> similar pressure-retaining components must submit for approval <strong>and</strong><br />

registration properly executed Statutory Declaration forms along with two copies <strong>of</strong> the catalogs or brochures<br />

detailing the products for which registration is sought. When component is a pressure-relieving device, rating sheets<br />

from <strong>The</strong> <strong>National</strong> <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Boiler</strong> <strong>and</strong> Pressure Vessel Inspectors shall be included. Statutory Declaration forms are available<br />

from the province on request;<br />
