Stamping: Where appropriate, the following National Board stamps or ASME Code symbol stamps are required: 1. National Board: VR. 2. ASME Code: A, E, H, PP, U. All boilers and unfired pressure vessels shall be stamped with a District of Columbia serial number with the letters “DC” at the beginning and end of the number.
