1. ASME Code (2001 Edition, 2002 Addendum), Sections I, IV, and VIII (Divisions 1, 2).
2. Code addenda and case interpretations accepted automatically.
3. Manufacturers are required to file a copy of the Manufacturer’s Data Report with the department before installation.
Permit forms are required and furnished by the department.
Stamping:
Where appropriate, the following National Board stamps or ASME Code symbol stamps are required:
1. National Board: none.

1. All boilers and pressure vessels are subject to the rules for construction and stamping, except the following:
a. Boilers and pressure vessels under federal control;
b. Unfired pressure vessels meeting the requirements of the US Department of Transportation;
c. Boilers requiring annual inspection and certification by the State of Florida, Bureau of Explosives and Fire Equipment,
Boiler Safety Section.
