Construction:<br />
1. ASME Code (2007 Edition, 2007 Addendum), Sections I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII (Divisions 1, 2), IX, X, XI, <strong>and</strong> code cases.<br />
2. Code addenda <strong>and</strong> case interpretations accepted automatically.<br />
3. Code rules are updated every two years.<br />
4. Manufacturers must file a copy <strong>of</strong> Manufacturer’s Data Report with the department on ASME forms before installation <strong>of</strong><br />
all vessels.<br />
5. Special design or construction requires the approval <strong>of</strong> the department.<br />
Stamping:<br />
Where appropriate, the following <strong>National</strong> <strong>Board</strong> stamps or ASME Code symbol stamps are required:<br />
1. <strong>National</strong> <strong>Board</strong>: all.<br />
2. ASME Code: all.<br />
<strong>Boiler</strong>s <strong>and</strong> unfired pressure vessels (except cast-iron boilers) must be shop-inspected <strong>and</strong> stamped <strong>National</strong> <strong>Board</strong> (NB) by an inspector<br />
holding a <strong>National</strong> <strong>Board</strong> Commission.<br />

<strong>Boiler</strong>s, unfired pressure vessels <strong>and</strong> refrigerating systems, except the following:<br />
1. <strong>Boiler</strong>s subject to federal government inspection <strong>and</strong> control.<br />
2. <strong>Boiler</strong>s on railroad locomotives.<br />
