When an IPv6 DHCP packet is received by the server, the serverdetermines if it was received from a DHCP relay or if it was directly received from the client. If thepacket was received from a relay, the server verifies the link-address field inside the packet associatedwith the first relay that is closest to the client. The server matches this link-address against all addressprefix <strong>and</strong> link-address configurations in IPv6 DHCP pools to find the longest prefix match.
