This time interval is the maximumtime that a multicast router waits after issuing a Mulitcast Address Specific Query (MASQ) beforedeleting a port from the multicast group. TheVLAN ID range is 1 to 1001 and 1006 to 4094.Set the time period (in thousands of a second) that a multicast router to waitafter issuing a MASQ before deleting a port from the multicast group. Therange is 100 to 32,768. The default is 1000 (1 second),Command DefaultThe default global query interval (maximum response time) is 1000 (1 second). The default VLAN query interval (maximum response time) is 0 (the global count is used).Command ModesGlobal configurationCommand HistoryRelease12.2(35)SE2ModificationThis command was introduced.Usage GuidelinesTo configure the dual IPv4 and IPv6 template, enter the sdm prefer dual-ipv4-and-ipv6 {default | vlan)global configuration command and reload the switch. In MLD snooping, when the IPv6 multicast router receives an MLD leave message, it sends out queriesto hosts belonging to the multicast group. If there are no responses from a port to a MASQ for a lengthof time, the router deletes the port from the membership database of the multicast address. The lastlistener query interval is the maximum time that the router waits before deleting a nonresponsive portfrom the multicast group. When a VLAN query interval is set, this overrides the global query interval. When the VLAN intervalis set at 0, the global value is used.VLAN numbers 1002 through 1005 are reserved for Token Ring and FDDI VLANs and cannot be usedin MLD snooping.OL-9776-08Catalyst 3750-E and 3560-E Switch Command Reference2-297
